Goshen sits high in the GreenMountains and abounds with opportunities for all to enjoy the outdoors. It is located inthe unspoiled Moosalamoo region of the Green Mountain National Forest, with its miles oftrails for walking, hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing, as wellas separate trails for snowmobiles. You feel a world apart in Goshen, and yet you are onlyfifteen minutes from Brandon and thirty minutes from Middlebury.

Hogback Mountain provides a spectacular mountain vistaand wonderful wild blueberries ripening throughout the summer. Sugar Hill Reservoir,ringed by hills, is a lovely spot for walking, swimming or fishing. A hike along the LongTrail quickly leads to the Cliffs of Horrid and a view to the White Mountains of NewHampshire, and continues on to White Rocks Peak and Romance Mountain, with westerly viewsto the Adirondacks. Quiet, serene Silver Lake, where no cars or motor boats are permitted,is but a short walk from the trailhead parking area. And in the winter, Blueberry HillCross Country Ski Center offers some of the finest Nordic skiing in Vermont.
